Interesting piece, enjoyed this. I feel somewhat ill-equipped to comment on it. I literally have never seen "Ancient Aliens" (in part because I watch very little TV, and in part because I've heard how corny it is) and I haven't even read "Chariots of the Gods," though I'm familiar with its general perspective. That said, based on my readings, I do suspect (suspect ... not "know" or "believe") that whatever non-human intelligence appears to be in contact with us today was very likely also in contact with us long ago. There are enough intriguing clues that merit further study and closer examination, as opposed to the fanciful nonsense on TV shows like this. 192 episodes? Well, only one of them has to be right. But all that said, the article kind of threw me, because I was expecting something different from the inclusion of philosophy in the headline.
