Excellent approach, there needs to be more of this. I'm also a fan of Tyson, but what is so frustrating and inexplicable is that he doesn't even seem interested in the phenomena. Why is that? Is it because it's too weird and bound up with human experience that he wouldn't be able to "solve" it? Or is it because he knows that determining the ontological reality of it basically upends everything he's believed his entire life? Or both?
